with the points split 4 each. The Kent wins again coming from both singles
players Mark Wiedeholz, winning 16-12 and Gary Best, winning 15-9. The Kent

Kent B team win their last game to go unbeaten.
Kent's last game of the season was away to East Sussex. We played the old
system of singles and fours then pairs and triples.

game.
The singles player Dave Kruse won 14-10 and the fours players Garry Cook, Brian
Porter, Albert Walker and Ray Sedge drew 7-7.
In the second session Kent won three games. The pairs players Barbara and David
French won 17-12 and the triples players John Hallett Barry Baker and Ray Ryder
won 13-2 and Margaret Marshall, Rita Horn and Steve Francis 11-8.
Kent had an excellent third session winning all four games. The singles players
Dave Kruse won 15-6 and Tony Horn 18-12. The fours players Garry Cook, Brian
Porter, Albert Walker and Ray Sedge and Terry Desmond, John Bown, John Bassett
and Pat Solly both won 9-5.
In the last session Kent won two games. The
pairs players Barbara and David French had another good game 23-9. The triples players

Sun 1 March 09 Kent A
v Norfolk A Semi Final
This semi final was a very close affair and
in the first session the singles went to Norfolk and Kent won the pairs.
The second session went Kents way, winning
both the triples and one fours game. At the half way stage both teams were on 6
points but Kent were up on shots 94-71.
The third session belonged to Norfolk with
them winning three mats to Kents one. So it was all to play for in the last
session and Kent went all out to get the points to secure a win. Unfortunately
after going ahead on all the mats only the triple of Andrea Rycraft, Frank
Wiedeholz and Cliff Lorkins came out winners with the other triple getting a
draw and both fours losing.
Final scores being Kent A 19 points Norfolk 21 points; Kent 166 shots Norfolk 162. So this was the end of Kents run for this year.
