Inplay
Inter-League Challenge Trophy
To
encourage competition between the various leagues within Kent, Inplay Ltd
donated the Inplay Challenge Trophy. This trophy was first competed for at the
end of the 1990/91 season and is played for annually. Teams of triples from the
winning teams of the competing leagues play each other, generally in September,
at venues hosted by each league in turn. Originally the competition was between
the Maidstone & District, Malling and South East Kent leagues. In 2000 the
competition was extended to embrace the Swale and West Kent Leagues.
2008
Competition
The 2008
competition will be hosted by Swale Short Mat League and will be played at
Snodland Community Hall on Saturday 20 September 2008 commencing at 10am.
Spectators welcome.

Malling
Short Mat Triples League won the Inplay Inter-League competition held at Ditton
Community Centre on Saturday 23 September 2006. The Malling League hosted the
day's competition.

It was
a very close fought competition all day and it was not until the last couple of
games that a winner appeared. Maidstone were the front runners up until these
last few games and unfortunately one of their teams dropped their last game
letting others go in front. The day was enjoyed by everyone taking part and
there was some really magnificent bowling produced by the players.
